Synopsis

This year sees the sequel to You can’t stop the beat - Raise you up

Martyn Knight, with Musical Director Mike Payne (assisted by Martin Smith) bring a new and dynamic compilation to ROSS.

The extract will be based on musical numbers from shows such as Mary Poppins, Fosse, Kinky Boots, Sister Act, Greatest Showman, Priscilla, A Chorus Line, Beauty & the Beast & Dear Evan Hansen to name but a few. The class is designed for singers, movers and dancers and we will also concentrate on ‘Acting through Song’ using solos, duets and ensemble numbers. The extract will be put together as a compilation and be a continuous cabaret style performance. Something for everyone and plenty to challenge you!
