Eric Wilson studied music at the University of Liverpool, graduating with honours, and later at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He taught percussion at the Watford School of Music and was percussion tutor to the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain for five years. Still a regular performer on both percussion and trumpet, Eric also works as a professional arranger and orchestrator with many published works to his credit. His work varies from music preparation and printing to arranging music for orchestra and concert band or orchestrating musical theatre works. He has always had a passion for musical theatre, playing for countless productions since the age of 15. His conducting credits include Guys and Dolls, Broadway Pirates, West Side Story, Barnum, Jesus Christ Superstar, She Loves Me, and Brassed Off. Eric' is also a Professor at the Royal College of Music where he has taught part of the BMus degree course since 1998.
